There seems to be a theme emerging on this website this week. Yes, here is yet more news of beer festivals. I seem to recall picking up some forthcoming festival flyers while at Huddersfield Oktoberfest.
I shoved them in my coat and promptly forgot about them until this morning.
Please forgive my pictures but I think you can just make out that Bailiffe Bridge Community Centre in Brighouse is hosting a beer festival this Friday and Saturday (October 11 and 12).
It features 18 real ales on hand pump at £2.50 a pint or £1.25 a half.
Entry to the Victoria Road venue costs £5 (includes free pint, glass and programme).
Proceeds are in aid of the Forget Me Not Trust and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Friday's session runs from 5pm to 11pm and Saturday opening is noon to 11pm. The other flyer I scooped up is for Slaithwaite Moonraker Beer Festival next month.
This is a three-day event run by the Colne Valley Lions Club and features 32 hand pulled cask conditioned ales.
It is at the Slaithwaite Conservative Club on Britannia Road between Thursday, November 14 to Saturday the 16th.
Session times are 6pm to 11pm for Thursday and Friday, while Saturday's runs from noon to 11pm.
A flyer I missed, but one which Andy Linehan kindly posted on our Facebook page, is Marsden Beer Festival at the Mechanics Hall between Thursday, October 31 and Saturday, November 2.
It features 20 real ales, four scrumpy ciders and a Blondie tribute act.
Session times are 6pm to 11pm on Thursday, 6pm to midnight on Friday, and noon to midnight on Saturday. Entry is free.
